It only takes about 90 minutes to travel from concrete jungle to pink sand paradise.

Through the Eyes of Love

Okay, even before we were in Bermuda for our first ever (!) international tour I knew I’d love it, which can be a slippery slope. The more you anticipate something the greater the risk of being disappointed.

Not Bermuda. Any expectations were greatly exceeded. Going through Customs was a balmy breeze similar to the ones awaiting us at the beach. Our bags arrived quickly. Our driver was friendly and informative, full of local tips and stories. Best of all I got to bring my husband along, who because of his work schedule often can’t travel with us no matter how wonderful the location.

The resort we stayed at The Fairmont Southampton was gorgeous. Our luxurious room had a perfect view. The staff was wonderful. The restaurants incredible. And the beaches. Oh my. The beaches. Private. Pristine. Perfect. We walked for miles and miles, climbing rocky paths, enjoying the salt water, saying hello to other lucky guests. Ideal.

When heading to a once in a lifetime locale, sometimes the show can almost get in the way of the experience. Not here. Shows were playful, and the perfect end to a perfect day. Fun, smart audiences. Wonderful crew. Generous presenters who were kind enough to invite us into their homes. We left feeling as though we had made friends.

Proven by our post show bar tabs.

Incredibly this transformative location is a relatively short plane ride from New York City. It only takes about 90 minutes to travel from concrete jungle to pink sand paradise.

Bermuda, you’re in my soul. We’ll be back!
