Meet Two of Our Newest Members!

Matt Giroveanu

Matt Giroveanu

Broadway's Next Hit Musical has been touring extensively. More shows means more tours and more tours means more cast members. Since you are going to be seeing them onstage in the next few weeks as the touring season keeps on going, we want to make sure you have a chance to get to know one another.

And seeing as they're newbies, we put the work on them. (At one point they called for an edit, nah, we just left it in to keep it real)

Matt Giroveanu's bread and butter comes from voice overs, so it's no surprise that when tasked with the job of interviewing his fellow freshman member he recorded it, radio-style. It made for a great interview that we posted to Sound Cloud.

Here Matt interviews Daniel Tepper about joining the show, whether or not babies listen to lyrics, and what goes great with crackers.

Daniel Tepper and Matt Giroveanu will be performing their first show with Broadway's Next H!T Musical in Bloomington, IL on Thursday April 16th and in Ottumwa, IA on April 17th.

How Do We Get to You?

Our Marquis Outside of the Criterion Theatre in Medford, OR
We usually talk to the audience after our shows. Mostly this is an excuse to take selfies with them. But often times we are asked about how we actually get to that theatre on that night. So here's a little behind-the-scenes look at how we get to your town.

Probably the quickest answer is: we have a booking agent. Baylin Artists Management has represented us for a few years now.  Marc Baylin and his team have relationships with venues throughout the country and they often are matchmaking between our show and your venue.

Here's what we don't do:

The cast of Broadway's Next Hit Musical doesn't call random venues to perform.
There are so many great theaters throughout this country and there is no way that we would have the time to contact them. Also, that might be creepy.

Here's something you may not know about:

Once a year in New York City there is a conference for the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. Those are the people from your town who book talent that is coming to your local venue. It's those people who check out Broadway's Next Hit Musical and decide that it's a good fit for your community.

We usually have a big fancy show for both APAP members and our favorite audience members. It's a big deal. We go all out! We put on our best dresses and tuxedos; we give out a Phony award. Oh, wait, that's our show. Anyway, it's a big night.

So those presenters see Broadway's Next Hit Musical and then contact our booking agent so we can come to you. Shows are usually booked about six months ahead of time -  we are now finding out about bookings for Spring of 2016.

As the performance date gets closer your venue will start publicizing it, and we'll start reaching out to you via social media to get information about your town to create one-of-a-kind, personalized experiences for each town. We book travel. We travel. We do your show!
